Privacy statement

PTN Privacy Statement
Polymer Technology Netherlands Foundation (Stichting Polymeer Technologie Nederland), hereinafter PTN, considers it its responsibility to optimally protect your privacy. PTN respects the privacy of all course participants and visitors to its website and ensures that the personal information you supply to us is treated carefully and confidentially. PTN acts in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
In this Privacy Statement, we inform you what data we collect, record and/or store if you visit our website, write us an email or register for one of the courses we organize. We will also explain how we collect these data, to whom the data are provided and who is allowed to process the data. In this way, we want to provide transparency about the way in which we handle your personal data.

Purposes of data processing

If you contact us for information about a course or want to register for a course, we ask you to provide your personal data. Personal data are data that can be traced back to a person. These data can be used to provide these services. PTN has outsourced the organization of its courses to PTG/e BV (www.ptgeindhoven.nl). The data provided by you is stored on PTG/e's own or a third party's secure server, including storage in the Cloud. PTN ensures that third parties to which data are provided also comply with the privacy regulations. You give PTN explicit consent to use these data in the performance of our professional activities. In doing so, we apply the statutory regulations on privacy and retention periods.
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
- to provide you with the information you requested and answer your questions;
- for registration and administrative handling of your participation in the course chosen by you;

for organizing the course chosen by you;
- and to comply with the regulations and legislation applicable to PTN.

We collect and/or use these data only for the purposes for which they are intended. We will ask your permission if we want to use these for other purposes.

Data processed
PTN collects and processes among others the following personal data: your name, address and other contact details, data related to the course for which you have registered, including payment details, your feedback about the course, and other information you supply to us. PTN also collects and processes personal data as part of your course, such as your attendance, any results and whether or not you have successfully completed the course.
PTN will supply your data to PTG/e. PTN will not provide your data to other third parties, unless you have given your prior consent to PTN or if PTN has the statutory obligation to do so.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics to monitor how our users use the website and how our website is found (such as which keywords are used in various search engines). We also use Google Analytics to adjust the site to the site visitor's needs. The information obtained, including the IP address, will be transferred to and by Google. Read Google's privacy policy for more information and the specific privacy policy of Google Analytics (www.google.com/analytics/learn/privacy.html). Google uses this information to track how our website is used and to provide reports on the website to us. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google has a statutory obligation to do so or to the extent that these third parties process the information on behalf of Google. We have no control over this. We have not allowed Google to use the analytics obtained for other Google services.

Security and retention period.
Your personal data is secured against misuse and access by unauthorized persons by means of state-of the-art techniques. PTN will keep your personal data as long as necessary for the aforementioned purposes or as long as prescribed by law. PTN can keep the personal data longer if there are circumstances that give cause to do so. Access, correction and removal.
You have the right to access, correct or remove your personal data.

To this end, you can address a specified request to PTN by sending an email to info@ptn.nu, stating your name and address. In principle, PTN will respond to your request for access or correction within four weeks. In the event of a request for removal, PTN will remove the relevant personal data as quickly as possible, unless and in so far as the law dictates retaining this personal data or if any other compelling reasons oppose removal.

Cancellation Policy
If we receive notice in writing of your cancellation eight weeks before the beginning of the module, no cancellation fee will be charged. If we receive notice in writing of cancellation four to eight weeks before the beginning of the module, we are obliged to charge 25% administration costs. If you cancel in writing within the four weeks prior to the first day of the module, you will be charged for the full cost of the training. In this case, however, we would be happy to welcome a colleague who would take your place. By agreeing with our Privacy statement & Cancellation policy, you are automatically agreeing with our cancellation terms as explained in the text here above.

Cancellation Policy Dutch Polymer Days (DPD) (only applicable if you register for the DPD)
To secure registration, all fees must be paid no later than 14 business days prior to the scheduled DPD event. Any unpaid registrations after such time will be cancelled. If a written cancellation request is not received by 14 or more business days prior to the DPD event, the registrant will be liable for the entirety of the registration fee, regardless of attendance or absence from the scheduled event.

Early Bird registration conditions
Early bird RPK-A registration is open until from 09-02-2024 until 16-02-2024. During this period, the 10% discount is applicable. From 17-02-2024, the regular prices, as mentioned on the RPK-A fee page, are applicable.

Amendments
PTN may amend this Privacy Statement. We therefore recommend that you read the Privacy Statement regularly to keep up to date on any amendments.
